I live on an abandoned island and how I got there is scary. I went to the beach to take a ride on a boat. After riding on the boat I didn’t even noticed that I had been riding for a long time. I realized that I had been lost in the middle of the ocean. I found an abandoned island. It looked very spooky at first, but I decided to still go and live there. I hopefully will find food and water. It is dark and scary with ghosts and creatures. I sat in the middle of the abandoned island and I decided to sleep there. The next day I woke up and I saw a helicopter up in the air. The helicopter saw me and saved me from an abandoned island.

This month I have been reading about No Summit Out of Sight by Jordan Romero with Linda LeBlame. I am currently on page 115. This story is about a boy named Jordan Romero which is the author of the story and he was hiking up the mountain at a Lake and he kept on pushing himself without getting tired.

I really enjoyed this book because I feel like that another way to get exercise by taking a lots of steps and it felt so real when you are hiking for a long time. He also brought supplies to survive after hiking for a long time.

Jordan was my favorite character because his goal was to reach 11,503 feet and I feel like the more hiking he does the more he gets healthier. One of his quote that are helpful is “Are you kidding?” “I can’t wait!” This shows that he wants to hike more because he loves hiking and he was to go hiking in Christmas.

My favorite quote of the story is “We had always been close because of that. She had so much knowledge and loved sharing it with me.” This quote is my favorite because Jordan’s grandma was going to die from leukemia and he was able to spend time with her grandma before she die which it makes me so happy that he was able to see her for the last time.

My free write that I am going to talk about similar to the word Perplexed. I chose this word because it also reminded me how I got stuck on what to do during the directions so I will always have to ask for help. Another reason that I choose this word because I will sometimes get confused about a new problem that we haven’t learned yet, so I will have to ask my teachers to help me. Another reason that I choose this word because there will always be a word problem on the test and sometimes I can get confused when there it a lots of questions that I have to do which It hurts my brain.

My favorite quote is “Happiness can be found even in the darkness of time when one only remembers to turn on the light.” What this quote means me is that it tells us to be happy in your life. Another reason I chose this quote is because it is also telling us that hopefully you can find happiness when you are feeling sad. Lastly, I also chose this quote because it’s not good to be sad, it is the worst feeling ever.

My hero is my mom. She works for longs hours to make money that we need. She makes me food whenever I’m hungry so I wont have to feel so nauseous. She brings me to the doctor when I feel very sick or when I have doctor’s appointment to keep me healthy. She cheers me up when I feel very sad so that way I can stay happy again.

In December, I read the book called Going solo by Roald Dahl. I am currently on page 95. This story is about a man named Dan Stevens. He got carried by a ship from England to Africa. He met an Englishman that had been working in distance corners of British territory since childhood and he was very lucky that he caught them. He also worked with U. N. Savory.

I recommended reading this book because the story is all about the war and they also use weapons for protection. For example Mwanumwezi has the greatest warriors for about hundreds of years.

My favorite character is Dan. Dan is my favorite character because he was preventing Germany invading Mwanumwezi by attending the war and he used his father’s weapon. The quote that proves this character trait is “As soon as the war begins, we shall try to kill them before they can kill us.” This quote proved that Dan is a protecter because he is saving peoples lives.

My favorite quote of the story from the quote on page 73 is, “To me you are a great hero.” This is my favorite quote because he is trying to make his partner feel better.

My word of intention for 2025 is focus. I want to stay focused on my future by working hard on my school work and be successful. Another reason I want to stay focused is because I want to get my school work done early so I won’t have to do it at the last minute and I will turn my work in on time. I also want to get my grades to be better than before so I can be on honor roll. That would make me feel like I am a winner.

I have been told I am to be the principal of my school for today. If I was the principal for today I would make them clean up the trash before they go to class since the staff will have less work to do. I would also do fun Friday during lunch time because the students are working so hard throughout the year. I would make the new rule if students have more than 2 tardies than they would get detention because we don’t want them to miss class time and learning. I would tell the teacher to excused students to leave the class so that way the cleaner will have less work to do at night. I would change the schedule from nine fifth teen through two forty five so that way they can have enough sleep time. I would add lunch time for forty minutes so we can have time to go get some exercise outside and play sports too.

In this month I been reading about James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl. This book is about a boy named James was very lonely boy and gets treated badly by his aunt named Spiker and Sponge. Now he has friends named Centipede and Ladybird whole would make him smiles and they would grow food called peaches to survive.

I like reading this book because the Peach grows at big as the building which made me impressed. One of his friends are very helpful and the taste are very delicious. They also moved away from James’s aunt Spiker and Sponge. Which its very to survive.

My favorite character is Ladybird because she lets James sleep on a bed and makes him feel like he’s at home and not being treated badly. Her quote was “And how do you like your bed?” On pg.41 Which it tells her that she was very kind to James.

My favorite quote of the story is “Aunt Spiker immediately tripped over Aunt Sponge and came down on top of her.” This is because they were trying to chase James but James got away which is good so they don’t have to live with them again.

I am thankful for many things this year, but here are the top three things. One thing I am very thankful for is my family and friends. My mom always makes me food and it’s my favorite food so I won’t have to starve. My dad always work hard for us to go buy food, drinks, and other supplies that we need. My friends always respect me and makes me joyful. I am also thankful for my grandparents. I am also thankful for my health. I can run a mile very fast since I have been eating healthy foods everyday. I am also improving my fitness so I can reducing risk of illness. I also wanted to achieve my fitness goals so I can feel myself feel stronger. Lastly I am thankful for is the sun. The sun makes me feel energized when I go outside to wake up myself. It also gives my plants to live when I gave them water. It looks beautiful when I open the window since outside of my is very clean.
